After graduating from Austin Healing Arts Institute, she quickly established her own practice in Clinical Sports Massage and Deep Tissue Techniques.
Jaime is consistently working to learn and grow as a therapist specializing in sports rehabilitation and deep tissue therapy. She completed her certification in Russian Sports Massage to help treat clients more effectively. Russian Sports Massage, focuses on somewhat vigorous techniques that will relieve muscle aches, various pains, and stiffness common to athletes. However, unlike a typical Sports Massage, the strokes are generally slower motions. The use of friction stimulates a heating effect in the body and, when combined with outer vibration techniques, it’s useful for easing sore muscles and joints. While cold restricts blood vessels and organs, heat relaxes and expands them, aiding the body and mind to affectingly release tension. With her combination of Deep Tissue Massage, Russian Sports Massage, Cupping Therapy and Kinesiology Tapping, she is very effective at helping athletes recover from current or chronic injuries as well as providing Deep Tissue pain relief. Jaime tailors each session to meet the personal needs of each client.
Being a former triathlete that has had a severe sports injury, I know how difficult it can be to rehab back to your sport. I know that advising a client to “just take time off” to rest is not always an option for elite or high performing athletes.
On weekends, I enjoy volunteering at Tejas Trail Racing Events giving post-race massages. When I’m not massaging, I enjoy gardening, running, hiking and spending time with my husband (who’s an awesome ultra-runner) and my lovely daughter.

Swedish massage technique is to relax the entire body. This is accomplished by rubbing the muscles with long gliding strokes, circular pressure applied by the hands and palms, firm kneading, bending and stretching.
